So this weekend we were blessed with new FREE furniture. What a blessing. I cant even stand it! There is so much room in our new dressers and side tables. And the drawers roll out nice and smooth, unlike cheapo ones... We are stoked and so thankful to God for His MANY blessings that rain down on us...

Cabin Fever

It is so cold, Tomas, Osa and I have had a serious case of cabin fever. We have been trying to make the most of our outings. We are finally in the new house up here above the clouds and have ample room to run and play. Ill post pictures of their house when I get around to taking some so Martha can see... just this morning there were hundreds of elk roaming through the back yard (amazing)... but so far our outings have been limited to 2 mile hikes to and from the gate. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons but for the first time in ever I find myself longing for summer! Im looking forward to... relaxing days out at the pool, baby Sophia who is due any week now, traveling to Florida, fitting into my post just-got-married-gained-20lbs jeans, aka being skinny again, hearing Tomas learn to talk and rolling down the hills once the grass is put in! Cant wait. In the mean time we will travel to Idaho Falls and visit C, check out the park to see if the jungle gym is thawed out, Uggs in tow, and hike to and fro... Thank goodness for strollers!

Ok so today I grabbed my shears and cut my bangs... I think I look a little cross eyed? No? or maybe I look the same? Why as women do we just cut off our hair like it will be okay?! Google says its a clear gesture of defiance, dissatisfaction or despair.... SaD! What??? My new New Years resolution... grow out my bangs...

Merry Christmas and Hapy New Year

This picture makes me laugh! I hardly ever get a good photo of us... Carlos refuses to just smile and look pretty! You would not believe that we went all Christmas and New year without taking one photo!!! Im so mad at myself because we had the best time! And, Carlos got me a photoshop program for my computer to use... Oh well.

He is back in Idaho Falls for any given amount of time and Im in Boise not getting pregnant... Christmas was a real blessing... we decided that we were only going to spend a certain amount on everyones gifts... about 20 per person and we did awesome... came in under budget and found really great things that we think blessed our families. My parents came up with the most amazing gifts for us. My mom found one thing from the past generations to give each of us. Carlos got my grandfathers coin collection and I got my grandmas diamond ring! I have l-o-v-e-d- that ring since I can remember. She also made us the most snuggly blankets on earth... and my Dad did the most thoughtful one of all... a gift bag of hairsray! Im stocked up for at least a month... Martha tought me how to make tamales like the real mexican I am! It was really fun, I think I only helped with a half dozen of the 33 dozen total that she made! Im not quite a pro yet... The twins dressed up in their little santa clause dresses and were the cutest things you will ever see... wish I had a picture, dang! The best thing of all was having the time off to spend with them all and Carlos and I together... We had the best first Christmas together I could ever ask for...
